NCR and Carbonless Form Printing

An NCR (no carbon required) form is a type of paper that doesn't contain carbon, unlike standard paper. This is a very useful kind of paper material to have for your forms, as the absence of carbon allows ink to press through the papers underneath the paper that you write on, so you can easily have color-coded copies of forms with your signature or writing on them! Carbonless forms are particularly used for signing invoices, bills, receipts and other notices because they make the forms more organized through color and save people the hassle of signing multiple documents. They're also popular outside of businesses too, such as for official school paperwork.

Carbonless forms are padded on the top, so they're similar to notepads. All you have to do is peel it off to remove it from the padding. In addition, they're typically numbered so that you can easily track different form numbers (like invoice numbers) without having to write them down or label them yourself! Carbonless forms come in sets of different colors.Â As you write on the form, you can see the same writing on the papers under the current form in other colors.
