Text safe zone: We recommend all text stay inside a “safe zone” : the edge of safe zone to the edge of the trim line is at least 3/16”.
Crop or cut marks help us to know where you want the cards cut.
What is bleeds: “bleeds” is a printing term used to indicate the area with a background image that will be trimmed off after the business card file is printed and cut down to the finish size. Projects that make use of image or background color that touches the trim line of a business card should be extended out at a minimum of 1/8” (.125) over the final trim edge.
What file formats are best to submit: After you’ve finished setting your file(s) save or export your file as high resolution pdf (for high quality printing), 300 dpi tiff or jpg. To ensure a high quality print use high quality images and supply us with high resolution file(s).
